March is Women’s History month marking the achievements of women in America. There is no better time to announce that Ringor recently signed a five-year contract with Monica Abbott to continue wearing Ringor footwear through 2021. Monica will be wearing Ringor in the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF), the Japan Softball League, and is anticipated to be a part of Team USA in the 2020 Olympic Games. “This extension of our relationship with Monica is exciting for everyone involved”, said Joelle Fanger, Ringor’s Marketing Manager. “Monica is the type of athlete that many companies hope to work with. She is dedicated to the sport of softball and to players at all levels. This can be seen in her work ethic on the field and the way she conducts herself off the field.”

Monica Abbott is no stranger to making history in the sport of softball. Abbott recently signed a $1 million contract with the Scrap Yard Dawgs of the NPF, making her the highest paid athlete in female team sports. As the game’s best pitcher, Monica continues to set the bar for achievement. “It is always exciting to watch Monica pitch, but what impresses us the most is how hard Monica trains and how great she is with young girls aspiring to be like her”, said Fanger. “Monica is a role model for these young ladies and it is a privilege to be working with her.”

Ringor and Monica Abbott will be teaming up to bring attention to young women around the world who are less fortunate. Women who do not have the opportunity for an education, do not have access to clean drinking water, or are victims of sex trafficking. Ringor Revolution addresses these issues through a line of products that donates 100% of the profits to organizations helping to empower exploited girls. Together by promoting these products, Ringor and Abbott hope to change the conversation and bring awareness to these issues. “Monica’s character can best be seen by the concern she has for other women. That’s why in addition to helping us promote Revolution, Ringor will also donate a portion of the sales from Monica Abbott Limited Edition shoes to the Monica Abbott Scholarship Fund”, said Fanger.

Ringor is the only company to focus solely on women’s fastpitch. Monica will be wearing the Ringor Bandit spikes this season with a custom design to match her team’s uniform.
